This Privacy Policy explains what information the Tripeppi Echo Builder ("the App", "we", "us") collects when you use it, how that information is used, and the choices you have. The App is a free, fan-made tool that helps players manage Wuthering Waves echo builds. The App is operated by Tripeppi ("the operator"), who acts as the data controller.

By signing in and using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information we collect

The build data you create. Character builds, echo stats, settings and similar content that you enter are stored in a hidden, app-specific folder ("AppData") inside your own Google Drive, which is only accessible by the App and does not appear in your regular Drive file list.
Locally cached data. A copy of your build data is also cached in your browser's local storage on the device you use to access the App, to improve loading speed.

We do not collect your Google account email address or your Google password (Google handles all authentication directly), and we do not knowingly collect any other personal information. The App identifies you only through your Google sign-in session.

2. How we use your information

To create, read, edit and display your build data, stored in your Google Drive's AppData folder and cached locally in your browser.
To run background calculations (for example echo probability computations) through Google Apps Script.
To retrieve static reference content — character artwork/fanart, default stat values, and non-editable character information — from a single public GitHub repository maintained by the operator. This is one-way retrieval of publicly available reference data; no personal data or build data is sent to GitHub.

3. Google API Services and permissions

The App uses Google APIs and requests only the permissions (OAuth scopes) needed to work:

.../auth/drive.appdata — to create, read and edit your build data in a hidden, app-specific folder in your Google Drive. This folder cannot be accessed by other apps and does not appear in your normal Drive file listing.
.../auth/script.external_request — to allow the background Google Apps Script processing to fetch static reference content (images, fanart, default values and non-editable character data) from the operator's public GitHub repository.

Limited Use. Tripeppi Echo Builder's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Where your data is stored

Your build data is stored in a hidden, app-specific folder ("AppData") inside your own Google Drive, and a copy is cached locally in your browser's storage on your device. We do not operate separate servers or databases and do not keep our own copy of your builds. Data stored in Google Drive is processed by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy terms. Static reference content (images, fanart, default character data) is retrieved from GitHub; this retrieval does not involve sending any of your personal or build data.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing, and the App does not display third-party ads. Your build data is never transmitted to GitHub or any other third party; it is processed only by Google (as the underlying platform provider) and cached locally on your own device.

6. Data retention and your choices

Your build data remains in the App's hidden AppData folder and in your browser's local cache for as long as you use the App.
Because it is stored in a hidden Drive folder, it does not appear in your normal Google Drive interface. To delete it, you can use Google Drive's "Manage apps" settings (drive.google.com/settings) to remove the App's stored data, and/or clear your browser's site data for the App to remove the locally cached copy.
You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

7. Your rights (EU/EEA — GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because your data is stored in your own Google Drive (AppData folder) and in your browser's local storage, you can exercise most of these rights directly, by using Google Drive's app management settings, clearing your browser's local data, and revoking the App's access. For any other request, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
